As promised I have kept up with taking photos on film. One thing I've noticed is that people don't mind when you pull out a small metal camera (a Pentax k1000), people are much more apt to notice or comment when I pull out my large dslr. So it's easy to sneak this thing into public places and take a few photos without people noticing. Also it being much more compact makes it easy to carry in my diaper bag. Bam. On that note you will notice this post is HEAVY with photos of my son. He's my life, I spend all day, errryday with him and so he is my test subject and that makes me happy to have him on film and it also makes these photos very personal.
I think this month I'm going to have to adapt my film challenge (taking two rolls per month). As I live in a smaller community the selection is smaller than say Calgary, so I have to order colour film from the store that also sends my prints away for developing. Anyways, the film I ordered two weeks ago is not here. Sad face. I suppose I could always go to London Drugs and pick up whatever they have. But for now I've decided this month will be polaroid month. I have two polaroid cameras (an older 600, and one of the new fujifilm instax ones) and already took them out today for a spin.
