"It’s what speaks to me. It’s what is real and authentic to me. The idea of living up to someone else’s idea of perfect really gets to me. I want people to see that ‘perfect’ is relative. I want to be able to show families that what they are doing, day in and day out, is more than enough." -Natasha Kelly
When I read the above quote it resonated with me so clearly, it is exactly what I want to obtain when I take photos of your beautiful families. Raising kids I have learned firsthand, is both tough and amazing as it is exhausting and renewing. I want to show you what you experience as ordinary and maybe even messy is really so special and so fleeting.
I am happy to say that this is my first family photojournalism shoot as I'm now offering "authentic life" sessions. I will be announcing packages in the fall (and possibly a SALE), so stay tuned to my social media platforms for that. In the meantime, here are the Tyssen's: natural, unposed, and full of life.
